Below are the dates of Society's meetings to which all are welcome
Eastbourne Society Members' Meetings
Held monthly on Tuesday evenings
Time: 7.30pm (doors open 7pm)
Venue: The Sussex Suite, Cavendish Hotel, 38 Grand Parade, Eastbourne, BN21 4DH
Visitors: are welcome - no need to book - £5 on the door
April 14th 2026
The Annual General Meeting
Guest Speaker: Phil Cameron who has leased the former Heritage Centre and will be sharing his plans for its future.
May 26th 2026

Sarah Tye will be giving an update on the new Eastbourne Seafront Strategy.
June 9th 2026
Richard Crook will be giving a talk "Celebrating 150 years of music at the Winter Gardens".
Regular Monthly Event
Gather @ The Beacon
On the last Friday in the month from 10:00 to 16:00 you will usually find us alongside other Heritage Societies in the Gather space at The Beacon shopping centre in Eastbourne.
The Conservation Officer is available to speak to anyone who drops in from 1-3pm on a first come basis.
Here are the first half of 2026 dates:
January 30th
February 20th (not the last, but third Friday)
March 27th
April 17th (not the last, but third Friday)
May 29th
June 26th
Ad Hoc Event
Heritage Cafe
We are trialling a new idea to get people socialising and talking about heritage and anything related to our town.
New dates and venues coming soon.
Where to find us
Tuesdays Monthly
On the Second Tuesday in the month we host a talk at 7.30pm in the Sussex Suite at The Cavendish Hotel Eastbourne.
Visitors are welcome to come and join us as a Guest and can pay £5 on the door.
Fridays Monthly
On the Last Friday in the month several Heritage Groups can be found displaying literature at The Gather Space in the Beacon Shopping Centre between 10am and 4pm.
A Conservation Officer is available between 1pm and 3pm to answer questions
