Eastbourne Local History Society
We host 12 meetings and events each year addressed by a speaker with local history knowledge. Our journal, the Eastbourne Local Historian is published quarterly as a vehicle in which members' research findings are published. It also includes the programme of forthcoming activities, news, and research enquiries.

Family Roots: Eastbourne's Family History Society
Whether you are an old hand or just starting out we hope you find something of interest on our website. Genealogy is a fascinating pastime. If you are just starting out, and are young enough to still have grandparents to talk with - make sure you do so as soon as possible before it's too late and they are gone.

Eastbourne Natural History and Archaeological Society
Since 1867 our aim has been to stimulate and educate people in the beauty, history and character of the countryside. The Society promotes these values with research, lectures, publications and resources available for education.

Eastbourne Miniature Steam Railway
Travel behind the famous one-eighth scale miniature locomotives as they meander for nearly a mile around the beautiful country park. Enjoy a pleasant stroll around the five-acre lake where nature and wildlife may be seen in their natural habitats. Have a round of Crazy golf then Visit 'Grandmas Garden' and get lost in the maze. Also for the children is an adventure playground to help "let off steam" and a play area for the under fives. Relax in the prize-winning tea gardens with a beverage, lunch or Cream Tea from the railway style cafe. Picnic areas, model railways and the Railway Gift Shop.

Eastbourne Walks
Kim Adams has a background in social history and trained as a tour guide in 2006. Join him to find out how Eastbourne developed as a seaside resort in the nineteenth century, thanks to the coming of the railways and the benevolence of the Dukes of Devonshire, and hear about the many famous (and infamous) people who have lived in the town..

Treasure Island
Ahoy there! Welcome to Treasure Island Adventure Park, Eastbourne. A pirate themed adventure park with a unique mix of indoor & outdoor attractions, to ensure a great day out - whatever the weather!
