About our
Cultural Heritage

Cultural Heritage: refers to the legacy of tangible and intangible assets passed down from past generations to a group or society. It encompasses a wide range of elements, including:

Tangible Heritage: Physical artifacts, such as buildings, monuments, archaeological sites, artworks, books, and objects.

Intangible Heritage: Non-physical aspects, eg traditions, oral histories, performing arts, social practices, rituals, knowledge, and skills.

Natural Heritage: Culturally significant landscapes, biodiversity, and geological elements.
It's a selective process by society, maintained in the present, and bestowed for the benefit of future generations, representing a community's history, identity, and shared bond.
